A $2,500 travel wallet is the ultimate wallet, but the best option for most people is a $3,000 wallet, according to a new study.
The study, conducted by WalletHub, looked at the top-selling wallets and found that men and women are equally likely to choose a $2.00 wallet over a $1.50 wallet.
But women are more likely to go for a $0.99 or lower wallet than men.
Women were more likely than men to choose pocketbooks, wallets and bags, while men went for pocketbags, wallets, watches and watches, and bags.
The WalletHub study found that women prefer the pocketbook to be the first choice in their wallet.
Women are also more likely in general to choose $1,000 or less wallets than men, and they are more willing to pay $0 down for them than men are.
Women and men are equally as likely to prefer a $25.00 or $20.00 pocketbook, but men are more apt to prefer $10, $8, $7 and $6 pockets, while women prefer $4 pockets and $3 pockets.

Women who are more attuned to the basics of a pocketbook also are more inclined to choose it, with more than double the number of men choosing pocketbooks as women.
