After Chloe’s father and Chloe were jailed, their relationship went from bad to worse, according to the former foster mother of Chloe and her two younger siblings.
“It was a very difficult time,” said Stephanie Rochon, whose daughter and two siblings were born into a foster home.
“My daughter had been on drugs, she was not the person she was when she was adopted.”
When the former mother of one of the siblings became a foster parent, Stephanie Rachon says she tried to encourage her daughter to try to make the most of her time with her family.
“She wanted to make a good impression.
She wanted to get a job,” she said.
She says it took some convincing.
Stephanie Rochons daughter, Chloe, was adopted from a foster family.
Her mother Stephanie Rchon with Chloe’s sister, Lina, in 2014.
Rochon says Chloe’s adoptive parents were so supportive, that she felt like her adoptive parents had given her a “better life” and a chance to be a successful adult.
But when her daughter and her siblings began to struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, Stephanie says it became apparent that their adoptive parents weren’t “doing their jobs.”
“I was so upset.
I felt that it was their fault,” Stephanie said.
“I wanted Chloe to grow up in a better place, I didn’t want her to have to go through what my daughter had gone through,” she continued.
“So, I made the decision to adopt Chloe.”
The decision to bring Chloe and Lina to Canada, Stephanie said, was not easy.
At the time, she and her daughter were living with her aunt and uncle, and it was a difficult time.
When Chloe and some of her siblings were diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, Stephanie decided it was time for her to get help.
Lina Rochson, Chloe’s foster mother, says it was Stephanie’s decision to put her daughter in foster care.
She says Stephanie didn’t know about the mental health issues that Chloe had and felt that the only thing she could do was give her daughter the best possible life.
It took a lot of convincing, Stephanie added.
In the end, she says, Stephanie and Chloe got a place together.
Stephanies daughter, Liana, is now 14 years old.
The mother of three said that Stephanie helped her with all of the other problems she was dealing with, including anxiety and depression.
A lot of people have contacted her about bringing Lina and Chloe into Canada.
I just wanted to let them know I was a proud mother.
Stephanie Richon said.
“I had a good time doing it.
I didn`t really see it as a negative thing.”
She said that when she heard that her daughter was going to be adopted, she felt proud of Stephanie for her decision to do it.
The former foster mom said that she hopes that Chloe and Rachons life can be the same as her own.
I think it is good for her, she said, that Chloe has had a chance at being a successful, normal adult.
“Because, in the end of the day, I think that’s the only way she could’ve lived, to be like her dad, who had to fight through it,” she added.
