Hermes wallets are worth more than $7 million and her husband’s $10.5-million wristlets were worth $7,000 apiece, her attorney told a federal judge Friday.
“We are very grateful that the judge was willing to give us this opportunity to prove to the court that the defendant did not defraud us,” attorney Joshua Tompkins told a judge in the federal court building in Houston.
Tompkins said the wallets are among the many gifts the couple received from the Trump family.
Tampos, 53, who worked as a senior adviser to the president during the 2016 campaign, said in court filings that his wife received $732,000 in gifts in the last three months of the year and that her husband received $845,000 during the same period.
She said she received a $100,000 Rolex watch and a $7-million watch with the initials “T.”
Tampo said in a separate court filing that she received $5 million worth of jewelry, watches, and watches for her birthday from the Trumps.
